Orientation is your introduction to academic and non-academic life at Montana State University in Bozeman. All new students are required to attend an Orientation session. Orientation is designed to inform you about all the elements important to your success as a college student and includes academic advising, placement testing and class registration. Montana State University believes the Orientation process assists all new students in their transition to MSU and increases their chances for academic success.
Check out our new virtual tour for an opportunity to see MSU from afar. The tour links 46 spherical panoramas with a walking tour sound track so you can explore the campus at your own pace.
Please note that requests for ADA accommodations should be made at least two weeks prior to the Orientation program. Requests can be submitted to the Office of Admissions at 1-888-MSU-CATS or firstname.lastname@example.org.
