Service Saturdays are local service projects held on the first Saturday of the month offering a great way for community members and students to create relationships while working to enhance Bozeman. They are coordinated and sponsored by MSU’s Office of Student Engagement. Projects will vary from month to month, so please check back for upcoming project details.
November 4th Service Project Sites:
Gallatin Historical Society/Gallatin History Museum
Volunteers will be working with the founding organization called the Cooperative Program for Architectural Conservation at MSU in order to help save Montana's Cultural Resources. Volunteers will help deep clean the main hall of the museum, pull the display cabinets away from the wall, vacuum behind and remove some old pegboard above the cabinets. There will be some ladder work involved and a little heavy lifting.
Habitat for Humanity of Gallatin Valley
Volunteers will assist ReStore staff in organizing the store's inventory so that it is better displayed and more accessible to customers. Proceeds from the sale of ReStore items go towards building Habitat homes and repairing homes for low-income homeowners
Sacks Thrift of Help Center, Inc.
Volunteers will help with sorting and hanging clothing and general clean up.
Gallatin Valley Food Bank
Volunteers will help with a Can the Griz Food Drive related project.
Make donation calls for our annual fundraiser.
