African Society at Montana State University

American Indian Council of MSU

Purpose:
The American Indian Council is a student organization for all Native students and their families and is housed in the American Indian Student Center (AISC). AIC has been established in order to assist new and continuing students in their adjustment to college life, to promote academic success through group support, advocacy, leadership, to encourage other students to attend MSU-Bozeman, and to foster pride in cultural heritage. One attribute that sets the AIC apart from other student groups at MSU is the use of our cultural heritage that is utilized to foster pride, integrity, and achievement at the college level and beyond.

Chinese Culture Club

Purpose:

Egyptian Club

Purpose:
The Egyptian Club is a student-based club trying to share the great Culture & History of Egypt among Montana State University students, also we are helping promote diversity by getting students from different cultures together. Friends International Buddy Program

Purpose:
The Friends International Buddy Program is an intercultural exchange program to help incoming international students have a "Buddy" at MSU from the day that they arrive in Montana. The program allows international students the opportunity to interact with MSU students in an easy going and stress free manner. The program also allows for MSU students to experience cultures from all around the world and to make new friends throughout the process. International students are paired with MSU students so that they may learn about Bozeman culture from people who live it. These pairings help to give international students a better experience integrating into the Bozeman culture for their stay at MSU. The friendship aspect just makes for a better experience for all students involved.

Marx Forum

Purpose:
The Marx Forum is dedicated to the study of the Marxist tradition as a tool for interpreting the modern world and the problems it faces. The sole aim of this student organization is to explore these philosophical theories in detail, and discuss their impacts on philosophy, economics, and human society as a whole. Regardless of our members' individual political beliefs and the exclusion of Marxist thought from the majority of academic studies in America, we aim to show how useful Marxist theories are in explaining the current sociopolitical situation.

Purpose:
