The professional staff at Counseling & Psychological Services (CPS) offer free, confidential counseling to eligible students and have a strong commitment to meeting the needs of all people. CPS also strives to create a safe, accepting, and tolerant environment where individuals from all diverse spectrums feel welcome, respected, and understood.

The Diversity Awareness Office (DAO) provides information and support to the entire university community, including LGBTQIQ individuals, in the areas of multicultural awareness and community building, prejudice reduction and practical resources relating to diversity issues. The DAO has a small library of LGBT themed and authored books available for loan.

Mission: The Queer-Straight Alliance at Montana State University strives to be the
premier Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) advocacy group in the university and
surrounding community. It focuses on developing community, fostering education, and
empowering action from and regarding LGBT persons.

Mission: Victim Options in the Campus Environment –The VOICE Center is a program of
Student Health Service that provides free and confidential support, advocacy, and
referral services to survivors of rape, sexual assault, relationship violence, and
stalking. The VOICE Center strives to impact change by providing effective outreach and education
on the roots of violence and oppression while challenging societal norms.
